Default Running 6 Heroes

Do you think it is worth paying $49.99 + $9.99 for a second full set up GW to do HM and Elite areas? If you have 2 PC???s you can run 2 copies then disconnect one from the mission and your main retains all 6 heroes right? Seems like a failry decent way for people who are hard pressed for groups ( or ani social ) to do things like FoW or UW.

Just asking anyone who has done or is doing it. Are the 3 remaining heroes commandable? or are they like Henchmen AI

/agree with Ikki.
And the heroes can be commanded like henchmen. Only with far better builds. E.G if you ran 6 discord heroes.

Just ask a guildy if he wants to borrow his 3hero to you. Go in with him he leaves and you have 6hero

So I guess unless you are doing no henchmen zones like UW it might be best to just go H/H then I guess. I dont really find the EoTN henchmen that bad as far as skills go, much better selection than the other 3 campaigns.

thanks for the replies

u'd have to lvl up the second account heros and drag the character everywhere and u end up wasting more time than benefiting from it. also stuck with 7 man parties, no fun ;-). not worth it.

It works... it makes some things a breeze... but c'mon, 50 bucks for a cheat code?

Grow a pair and play the game for real.

Some of us are married with kids and work 10 hour days, does that count as having balls? I often cant group because I don???t want to put the person I am grouping with through countless AFK???s and sporadic disconnects ( 3 year old pulling cables ). Trust me I like grouping, I just have a case of empathy....

As mentioned before, just borrow 3 heroes from a guildmate or a friend and have them zone out :P

Only works if you don't have to zone after your friend leaves. I just tried this recently... had someone in town load the heroes I wanted and once outside he left. It worked great for that zone, but when I went on to the next area the heroes disappeared

try playing the game by asking someone from your guild time and again to go to an outpost and lend you his heroes. It will get old pretty quickly.

I don't think you can run GW2x based on only one account - you would need two accounts for that. otherwise everbody would be doing that already.

I got a second account to run with 6 heroes. I am running a new character of the second account through all campaigns. You basically add that character to a party consisting of a character of your first account, 3 heroes and 3 henchmen (in 8 person areas). When you zone in, you leave the second account standing there, just go through the mission with your first account (it's NM so it's quick). Then collect the reward with your second account and that's it. It goes pretty quickly.

If you want to run 6 hero Discordway you do need all 4 campaigns though. I bought Trilogy and EotN on eBay for $60 in total.

Just find yourself a few friends with good heros, 2 humans with 6 good heros is much better than 8 noobs agroing in 8 different directions.
Unless your in a high end PvE guild, this combo beats the tar out of PuG groups.

this is true

I paid 1k for other player's hero only to find out that their hero will leave when you enter another zone

I do this all the time, just make sure it is someone with the right builds and armor and stuff so you can have good heros/.
